I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break.
It was nice to get back in the swing of things today!
Schedule:
A Few Things:
1. Our Thanksgiving Week Food Drive was a major success! Just about 3,000 items were donated. Thank you for your support!
2. Over the next few weeks, I will be going into classes to do a little Advent Day Lesson together. We will read a story, play a game, and celebrate this season of Advent. I’m excited!
3. The kids put together a fantastic book for Father Kyle’s birthday. They each decorated a page for a book- either decorating a cake, drawing the perfect gift for him, or drawing Father Kyle celebrating in the best way. The pages, as you can imagine, are hilarious.
4. If you drop off in the 4th-8th Grade Drop Off Zone, please be sure to pull up all the way to the end of the sidewalk. This way we can fit the most cars in for a drop off. Your child might have to back track to the door a bit… they can do it!
5. There is a PTO Meeting in the library at 6:30pm tonight.
6. On Friday, St. Nicholas will be dropping some candy canes into the shoes of our students. A note to just double check those socks or especially make sure they are wearing them. Haha 🙂
7. A reminder that every Friday is SChirt Day! Kids can wear the current 24-25 SChirt or former SChirts with uniform bottoms.
8. The text and email features from FACTS will be how I communicate delays and closings. If looking online/tv, we do follow Vandalia Butler.
Dates…
9. The Feast Day of the Immaculate Conception Mass will be on Monday, December 9 at 9:00am. We will not be going to Mass on Tuesday, December 10.
10. On Monday, December 9 from 4pm-5pm, St. Christopher Church will be visited by Cowboy Santa. A lovely parishioner has a horse, dresses up as Santa, and will be in the church parking lot for families to come by to get pictures and visit.
11. Band Concert- Thursday, December 12 at St. Peter School. Mr. Linegang has shared information with families. Be on the lookout for reminders as it gets closer.
12. Christmas Concert- Tuesday, December 17 at St. Christopher Church. This concert will showcase songs by our Kindergarten- 4th Grade Classes. More information will be shared soon.
Reminders:
1. Please be sure your child has a coat and hat for walking in and out of the school… and outdoor recess 🙂
2. In need of some SC Spirit Wear? Be sure to check out the SC Spirit Wear Website. (Password- falcons) STUDENTS- These items cannot be worn as uniform… just for OOU or after school wear.
3. Our Tardy Policy went into effect November 1.
4. Please write your family name in uniform sweatshirts and coats for easier return. Thank you!
5. Regardless of the weather, our policy states that beginning in November, students in Grade K-5th must wear pants, gym sweats, leggings under skorts, etc.

7. Please continue to closely monitor your cafeteria balances.
