Hello Falcon Friends!
COVID Corner:
- Current Case Rates
- Local: 2,659 (v. 1,940 last week)
- County: 2,989 (v. 1,944 last week) Montgomery County ranks 11th out of 88 Ohio counties; case rates range from 687 to 3,409.
- State: 2,154 (v. 1,883 last week)
- Positive Case Guidelines:
- Please be sure to notify the school office as soon as a student tests positive even if the student was not at school the day of the test. An infected person can be contagious 1-2 days prior to symptom onset. Therefore, we need to contact trace 48 hours prior to symptom onset. Example: if a student’s symptoms start Wednesday night and the student stays home from school on Thursday and Friday, we still need to contact trace for Monday and Tuesday.
- Isolation is key when a family member tests positive. If an infected parent cannot isolate from a student, the student’s at-home quarantine does not start until the infected parent’s 5 days have expired. And if the second parent eventually becomes infected and is unable to isolate, then the student’s at-home quarantine resets and starts over based on the student’s last contact with the second parent.
Father-Daughter Dance has been postponed. I spoke with PTO President, Brittany Trimbach, and we decided it was best to postpone this event until local Covid cases start to decline. We will update you as soon as we have a new date.

Enrollment/Recruiting
- Please help us spread the good news about St. Christopher School!
- Please help us to recruit for all grades, but especially grades K-2.
- If you have friends or even friends of friends living in the Northridge Public School District, please reach out to them. Northridge is on the failing schools list this year and our Northridge students received full/free tuition. Furthermore, that free tuition will remain with these students through 8th grade regardless of Northridge’s future ratings. Northridge also offers bus service to St. Chris.
Re-Enrollment for current students will begin in February. We are switching to an online re-enrollment process. More to come!
The Catholic Education Foundation tuition assistance program will remain open until February 6, 2022. Please click below image for more information.
St. Christopher, pray for us!
God Bless & Go Falcons!
