Hello!
I hope you had a lovely weekend!
CALENDAR:
A FEW THINGS:
1. The new SC School Visitor Policy was shared yesterday. I have also attached the policy here. Our visitors rocked it today! Thank you for your help in keeping your school safe.
2. Family Math Night was a great success! What an incredible turnout for our first event! Watching you all playing with your kids and enjoying some math… nothing better! A huge thanks to our Math Night Committee, our staff, and our junior high students (great job volunteering) for making the night amazing. Really, my heart was so incredibly full as I wandered around 🙂 For those that participated, we would love your feedback! Please complete the FAMILY MATH NIGHT SURVEY. Thank you!
3. The attention and media surrounding the legal battle over EdChoice continues. A “stay” was issued to keep the program in place. “The stay allows vital scholarship programs to continue without interruption as the case moves forward.” No change in EdChoice for now.
4. Please check out a new position within SGFP: Part-time-School Development Coordinator-St Gabriel Family of Parishes – Archdiocese of Cincinnati
5. Trunk or Treat, sponsored by PTO, is next week! It is one of our most popular events! Mark your calendar for Wednesday, October 28 from 6:30pm-8:00pm. (See the attachment for more details.)
6. End of Day Car Line Pick Up was great last week. Thank you for your cooperation!
7. Please pray for our 7th Graders and staff chaperones as they travel to Damascus this week.

PREVIOUS REMINDERS:
1. Looking Ahead- Starting in November, Kindergarten-5th Grade Students must wear uniform pants. I want to give you this heads up so you have a few weeks to double check pants, gym sweats, and leggings/tights (for under jumpers, skirts, skorts).
2. We will be reciting the Guardian Angel Prayer at dismissal time for the month of October. Please encourage your child to practice it at home. Maybe a bedtime prayer?!
Angel of God, my guardian dear,
To whom God’s love commits me here,
Ever this day, be at my side,
To light and guard, to rule and guide.
Amen.
3. A reminder that SChirts can be worn every Friday with uniform bottoms.
4. Please write your family name inside your quarter zips.
5. School Calendar, Lunch Menu, PTO Important Dates (attached)
6. Our Bible Verse for the year is Psalm 16:8 “I keep the Lord always before me; with him at my right hand, I shall never be shaken.”
Have a wonderful week!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Trentman
