A Few Things:
1. The cold days are approaching… please be sure your child has a coat and hat for outdoor recess 🙂
2. The kids rocked our Kindness Bingo Boards last week. So much positivity around the building in honor of World Kindness Day. Let’s keep that going!
3. If you did not receive my Delay/Closing Practice Text Message, please be sure to send me an email. The text and email features from FACTS will be how I communicate delays and closings. If looking online/tv, we do follow Vandalia Butler.
4. Student Council is hosting a Food Drive this week (attached).
5. Poinsettia orders are due today, Monday, November 18 (attached).
6. CHANGE IN LUNCH ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 21: We will be having Thanksgiving Dinner- turkey, mashed potatoes, etc. Yum!
7. Yearbook orders are due Friday, November 22 (attached).
8. A reminder there is no school Monday, November 25 – Friday, November 29.
9. How about an OOU on Friday, November 22? Let’s do it!
Reminders:
1. In need of some SC Spirit Wear? Be sure to check out the SC Spirit Wear Website. (Password- falcons) STUDENTS- These items cannot be worn as uniform… just for OOU or after school wear.
2. Advent is quickly approaching! Here are some resources to get you in the spirit: Resource 1, Resource 2, Resource 3.
3. Our Tardy Policy went into effect November 1.
4. Please write your family name in uniform sweatshirts and coats for easier return. Thank you!
5. Regardless of the weather, our policy states that beginning in November, students in Grade K-5th must wear pants, gym sweats, leggings under skorts, etc.
