Hello Falcon Families!
As we get this new school year started, I want to bring our attention to uniforms. Our goal is to tighten things up a bit and make sure we are clear on uniform expectations. To be clear is to be kind… right?!
To make things easier, I have cleaned up the Uniform Policy. There are no changes to the uniform requirements, just a cleaned up version that I hope is a bit more user friendly and easier to reference. I have also included an example page to help give a clear picture of what the expectations look like.
We will also be implementing a Uniform Reminder email to communicate uniform notes with families. When an infraction occurs, staff will email the family to identify the issue. Uniform infractions will be documented and monitored for patterns. When a Uniform Reminder is sent, parents/guardians are asked to review the note and help ensure the student’s uniform is adjusted accordingly.
WE GET IT. We know getting your kids dressed, fed, and out the door in the morning can feel like an Olympic sport some days. Things happen. That is why it is called a Reminder!

I have given staff a list of our most common uniform offenses. These include:
-Wearing non uniform sweatshirts/hoodies
-Light up shoes
-No polo under quarter-zip
-Wearing gym uniform on a regular uniform day or vise versa
-White polo uniform shirts
-Crazy/mismatched/colorful socks
-Large stacks of bracelets
-Non gym shoes on gym days
-Wearing the SChirt on non-SChirt days
-Wearing St. Chris spirit/team wear sweatshirts/hoodies
We will use this week to get our ducks in a row, and the Uniform Reminder email will go into effect after Labor Day (Tuesday, September 8).
My goal isn’t to be grouchy (Mean Ole’ Trentman back again!), but rather to get us all on the same page and consistently upholding those Falcon Standards that we hold so high.
