Educational Scholarships Grants

St. Christopher Christ-Bearer Scholarship:  Provides scholarships of a set dollar amount for all parishioners of St. Christopher and St. John parishes, regardless of income.  To qualify, you must request the scholarship during our online enrollment process.

Ohio EdChoice Scholarships:  The Ohio EdChoice Scholarship programs offer families the opportunity to attend a private school on a state sponsored scholarship. Currently there are two different EdChoice programs:

• EdChoice Traditional: This program provides scholarship opportunities for K-12 students who reside within the district of a low performing public school. The scholarship provides funding for most, if not all, of elementary school tuition. For more information, contact our office or visit https://education.ohio.gov/Parents
• EdChoice Expansion: This program provides scholarship opportunities for K-12 students based on a family’s income level. The scholarship provides funding for most, if not all, of elementary school tuition. For more information, contact our office or visit https://education.ohio.gov/Parents
• The maximum scholarship amounts for both programs is $5,500 for elementary school

Archdiocese of Cincinnati Financial Assistance:

• Catholic Education Foundation Grant (CEF): provides needs-based assistance up to $1200/year.
• The Welcome Scholarship:  offers a limited number of scholarships to Pre-School or Kindergarten students who are the first child of the applicant to attend a Catholic school.
