Hello Falcons,
St. Christopher School has been notified there has been a positive case of COVID-19 reported in a student or staff member, and we are working closely with Public Health – Dayton & Montgomery County to ensure the proper steps are being taken to stop the spread of COVID-19 within our school population.
***This is a general letter to all parents. If your student is considered a close contact and needs to quarantine, you already received a separate email from me with the subject line of “URGENT: Positive COVID-19 Case in Classroom”. You should have also received a One Call Now message from me. ***
If you did not receive the above email and/or One Call Now, your child is not currently considered a close contact and does not need to quarantine.
The school will remain open, as we are confident we have identified all close contacts and they will be quarantining starting tomorrow. Additionally, the Health Department will do an official contact tracing investigation and confirm all close contacts are, in fact, quarantining at home.
As part of our steps to reduce the spread, we will:
- ensure the individual with COVID-19 is isolated at home
- ensure close contacts are quarantined at home
- perform enhanced cleaning procedures
- cooperate with Public Health’s contact tracing process
Again, if your student is considered a close contact, you already received an email and/or a phone call from me.
