At-Home Learners currently represent 35% of our student body.
Snow Days will continue as they have in the past and we will not live-stream on those days. Although we now have the technology to never miss another day of school, there are other reasons to take a traditional snow day:
- Not all grades take Chromebooks home every night.
- Even if Chromebooks are at home, most students do not take home textbooks and other materials for every subject area.
- It’s good for mental health.
- It’s just plain fun.
As is the case with many of our new 2020-2021 policies, the above snow day policy is subject to change at any time.
Guadías aka Guad Days is next week! This will be a weeklong prayerful celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Here are some of our planned events:
- Monday
- 12:15 PM Presentation and Rosary with The Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe
- The Missionary Image is one of only four images in the world commissioned by the Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City to travel the world sharing the mission of Jesus and His Mother. For more information, please click here: What’s so Special about the Missionary Image?

- Tuesday
- 9:00 AM Immaculate Conception Mass (Grades 5-8)
- 12:10 PM Immaculate Conception Mass (Grades 1-4)
- Taco Tuesday for Lunch
- Wednesday
- 7:50 AM Piñata Mañana: one lucky student from each grade will get a chance to swing at a piñata filled with prizes.
- Thursday
- Thursday with Mary: individual classes will spend some quiet time with Our Lady and the Missionary Image in the church.
- Friday
- Wear Blue 4 Mary Day: out of uniform day; must wear something blue.
- Blessed Mother Bingo with the entire school.
- OLG Artwork: complete a wooden image of Our Lady of Guadalupe created by Mr. Rasor and painted by both in-school and at-home students throughout the week.
- Saturday, The Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe
- Faculty and staff will consecrate themselves and the school to Our Lady.
