Hello!
How are we to October this week? TIME. IS. FLYING.
Schedule:
A Few Things:
1. Thank you for a successful conference week. Double thanks to PTO for providing City BBQ Dinner for our teachers 🙂
2. We are making our way with our yearly Bible Verse! Galatians 5: 22-23 The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity… (6/9 we are getting there!). We will continue to slowly add as the weeks progress. Please see if your kids can tell you the 6!
3. Recess volunteers are needed! Especially with the cold weather approaching… more volunteers are needed for indoor recess. Please contact Mrs. Schindler if you are available- jschindler@sc.sgfp.org.
4. Exciting News- Our sweet Kindergartners will begin joining us for Mass! On Monday we will have a Prayer Family Activity for the opportunity to meet our family members. Mrs. Dodson and Mrs. Dunkle have done a great job preparing them for School Mass. Tuesday will be amazing… the whole school together 🙂
5. SGFP has coordinated Jesse Manibusen to come and share his songs and stories with our SGFP Schools! You might know his song “Open My Eyes.” He will perform for our whole school on Monday. I cannot wait!
6. 3rd-8th Grade students will receive the Sacrament of Confession on Tuesday. Our priests will be spending the day celebrating with us. We will begin after Mass and finish up by lunch time.
7. Looking Ahead… Starting in November, K-5th Grade Students must wear uniform pants. I want to give you this heads up so you have a few weeks to double check pants, gym sweats, and leggings/tights (for under jumpers, skirts, skorts).
Previous Reminders:
1. Please continue to closely monitor your cafeteria balances.
2. Please write your family name in uniform sweatshirts and coats for easier return. Thank you!
Have a great week!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Trentman
