Hello Falcons Families!
Water Bottle Fillers: we now have two water bottle filling stations thanks to a generous donor! Water fountain bubblers are still disconnected, so please send your student to school with a refillable water bottle.
COVID-19 Guidelines
- New Definition of Close Contact: The CDC changed its definition of a close contact on October 21. A close contact is now “someone who was within 6 feet of an infected person for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period.” More details can be found here: CDC Close Contact Update.
- Quarantine Guidelines: if a St. Christopher student is considered a close contact, we will follow the Health Department’s instructions found here: Self-Quarantine Guidelines.
- Isolation Guidelines: if a St. Christopher student becomes infected with COVID-19, we will follow and expect the student to follow the Health Department’s instructions found here: Isolation Guidelines.
- We also expect infected family members to follow the Health Department’s isolation instructions. If they do not, it may delay your student’s return to the school building.
Reminders:
Masks: Please pack an extra mask in your student’s backpack. Every day, students arrive at school without masks, lose them at recess, etc. One on the face and one in the bag!
Educational Apparel will be selling items in the St. Christopher gym on Thursday, October 29th from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Please check out the Education Apparel Flyer for more information.
Halloween will be celebrated by grades 5-8 on Thursday because of Friday Mass. Grades K-4 will still celebrate on Friday. Homemade treat bags should be sent to school 72 hours early while commercially packaged bags of candy can be sent on the day of the party. When in doubt, please send it early.
