A Few Things:
1. With Vandalia being on Spring Break this week, Bus Routes are a little different. Should be smooth… just wanted to give you a heads up.
2. We recently started a Hallway Ticket Incentive in our school building. Our staff are on the lookout for nice and quiet hallway behavior. Kids can earn a ticket to be entered in a prize drawing. We had our first drawing and have been really enjoying the OOU, donuts/juice treat, books/slime/bracelet/Stanley/light strip/etc. prizes. More drawings to come! Keep it up, kids!
3. DATE CHANGE: The 5th-8th Grade Spring Concert has been moved to Tuesday, May 13 at 6:00pm in the St. Christopher Church.
4. St. Christopher Track Practice is beginning the week of April 7. More information to come. Just know that there is no practice this week.
5. We had two great days of Kindergarten Screening last week. One more screening day this week. It is so much fun to see these little Future Falcons all excited for the Big School!
Reminders:
1. For those students who are trained servers: If you are interested in serving during a weekend mass, please complete the flyer and return it to school. We will get it to the right people. Thank you for your service to this important ministry!
2. Please write your family name in uniform sweatshirts and coats for easier return. With the weather being cold then hot, lots of sweatshirts get tossed during recess. The missing pile is getting quite large.
3. Mrs. Schindler’s EdChoice Renewal Information:
- Please complete the EdChoice Renewal Form at your earliest convenience. We would like to have all scholarships secured before the end of March.
- For access to the Form, please click on the attachment. Please email me back the completed form to jschindler@sc.sgfp.org.
- Proof of Residency is still required of all renewal applications and must be submitted to the school with the application. Please see the Acceptable Proof of Address Guidance attachment for more details.
- Income Verification is not required for renewals, unless your income decreased and you want to be considered for a higher scholarship amount.
- 2025 Federal Poverty Guidelines are attached as well.
4. Every Friday is SChirt Day! Kids can wear the current 24-25 SChirt or previous SChirts with uniform bottoms.
