Hello!
Here is a look at the week ahead…
Schedule:
A Few Things:
1. Crazy Sock/Shoe Day DID NOT disappoint. The students and staff knocked it out of the park. What a fun day!
2. WEDNESDAY Vandalia Bus Information- Because of Vandalia’s Early Release on Wednesday, they will be picking up our kids from SC a bit later than usual (More like 2:45pm-3:00pm). SC students will be the only students to drop off at that point, so hoping it doesn’t impact their home route too much. Just wanted to give you a heads up!
3. We have the i-Ready Reading Diagnostic this week. It will be set up just like last week’s Math Diagnostic. The kids will complete the assessment over two days. Please be sure they are getting good rest each night and have breakfast in the morning.
4. 8th Graders and our teacher chaperones are headed to their Damascus Retreat at the end of the week. Please send some prayers their way 🙂
5. During morning drop off, it is important that the K-3rd drop off students exit their car on the right side. We have a lot of cars moving about and children cutting between the cars is dangerous. All students should exit the right side of the car.
A Few CONFERENCE Things:
Teachers will be sending a link for conference sign-ups. We will be rolling out the sign ups in two waves. Here are a few more details:
- Thursday, September 26 Conferences: from 3:00pm-4:30pm and 5:30pm-7:00pm. Friday, September 27 Conferences: from 8:00am-12:00pm.
- Conferences will all be in person at school.
- Teachers will be reaching out to their “need to see” families on Wednesday, September 18.
- Teachers will share the sign up link with all families on Friday, September 20.
- Signups for conferences will close on Tuesday evening, September 24. This allows teachers time to prepare for their conferences come Thursday/Friday.
