Hello Falcon Fam!
Our morning announcements always include prayer, pledge, birthdays, and lunch options. Most days, we are also celebrating a Church feast day or memorial, so we share a bit about that person or place. When we do not have a feast day, I pick something from that day’s Gospel Reading or a reflection from my Magnificat. Today, I read an excerpt from Servant of God, Catherine de Hueck Doherty…
“Everything can be borne between two Masses. If every morning we eat the Bread of saints, we will be able to face any kind of day. We will plunge into the sea of fire and come out burning, ready to go forth and light fires of love.”
Today, we challenged ourselves to light fires of love. I thought that was a beautiful image and I wanted to share it with you. I also wanted you to know how your children start their day at St. Christopher School.
No School on Monday, September 4.
Band Registration is still open using THIS LINK. Band is open to all students in grades 5-8. For $200/semester, a student can take band instead of music class. For more information, please contact Angelo Knight, our Band Director from Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School. aknight@cjeagles.org
Birthday Book Club is back! In honor of their birthday, students can adopt a new book for our library. I will have a variety of books for their selection and, after adding a personalized name plate to the book, your child can check out the book right away! This is a generous and fun way to support our library on your child’s birthday. For more information, please click on the image below or use THIS LINK to register your child. Thank you! Mrs. Hartley, YOUR St. Christopher School Librarian (and so much more)
St. Christopher PTO
- I want to extend a HUGE thank you to Mrs. Trimbach for leading our PTO last year!
- Brittany’s term limit is up, so we are asking YOU to consider serving in a PTO leadership role.
- PTO doesn’t have to be led by one single person. We can (and should) have multiple leaders. More leaders mean less work for each leader.
- Please email me, if you are interested in helping with our PTO at any level, leadership or otherwise. toloughlin@sc.sgfp.org
