Gala

The St. Christopher Spring Gala, founded in 2010, is the school’s largest annual fundraiser, supporting vital school improvements and programs. Since its launch, the event has raised over $250,000, funding numerous initiatives. This year, the proceeds will go toward projects such as purchasing new playground equipment, renovating the gym bathrooms, and sending 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students to Damascus.

The Gala is a memorable night of fellowship and community, where guests can enjoy a catered dinner by Amber Rose, dancing, and the opportunity to meet new families. The event also features an open bar and exciting games of chance, including a cork pull (with bottles of wine or liquor as prizes) and a chance to win $500 cash through Heads or Tails.

One of the highlights is the silent auction, valued at over $20,000 each year, offering unique and valuable items for attendees to bid on.

Over the years, the Gala has funded significant projects such as the creation of a new science room, the installation of updated security systems, the purchase of a school bus, and support for field trips, missions trips, and student conferences. The event has also helped upgrade the school’s phone system, Wi-Fi, and safety rubber flooring on the playground.

This event is a cherished annual tradition that plays a crucial role in supporting the school’s growth. It brings together the community, helping to enhance the school’s programs and facilities while fostering a sense of connection among families and supporters.
