A Few Things:
1. Thank you for such great participation in our Catholic Schools Week activities. What a fun week celebrating the school we love!
2. Coastal Wilds was amazing today! The kids did a great job quietly listening to the presentation with great intrigue. We saw a chinchilla, bearded dragon, and other cool creatures. What a great experience! The majority of the items purchased went home today. Some will be shipped in the next 2-3 weeks.
3. The Book Fair schedule of events is attached. A huge thanks to Mrs. Hartley for getting Book Fair up and running and decorating the library! Shout out to her volunteers that help make this week happen! Can’t wait to browse. Please talk with your children about how to spend their money wisely… unless you do want 10 posters and erasers coming home to you! Thank you!
4. Conferences are coming up this week! We look forward to seeing families on Thursday, February 12 from 3pm-7pm.
5. Due to conferences on Thursday, there is NO Falcon Flight on Thursday, February 12.
6. There is no school on Friday, February 13 or Monday, February 16.
7. In case you missed last week’s email, the Gala Royale raised $58,520! The contributions directly support our students and school. Thank you all for your incredible generosity and love of SC!
8. How are we prepping for next year already?! Re-enrollment info is coming out soon. Mrs. Schindler sent out EdChoice Information last week. Here is a recap:
- Please complete the EdChoice Renewal Form at your earliest convenience. We would like to have all scholarships secured by March 6th, 2026.
- For access to the Form, click on the attachment. Please email me back the completed form to jschindler@sc.sgfp.org.
- Proof of Residency is still required of all renewal applications and must be submitted to the school with the application. Please see the Acceptable Proof of Address Guidance attachment for more details.
- Income Verification is not required for renewals, unless your income decreased and you want to be considered for a higher scholarship amount.
- 2026 Federal Poverty Guidelines are attached as well.
9. The Archdiocese of Cincinnati has a Financial Assistance Scholarship Opportunity through the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF).

4. Open House is Sunday, February 22 from 10am-11:30am.
5. A reminder on our shoe reset:
- No Crocs
- No sandal slides/flip flops/clogs
- Shoes should be secure and safe for running, playing, and learning
- On Gym Days, students must wear sturdy, fully-enclosed, non-skid shoes so they can fully and safely participate.
