Hello Families!
A Thursday Message… Next week we will get back in the flow of Monday Messages!
First, a huge thanks to you all for your grace and check-ins as I have returned back to the building from my maternity leave. St. Chris is a special place to work and raise your kids. Beyond grateful for this community!
A Few Things
1. Coastal Wilds permission slips/order forms were passed out last week in report card envelopes. Please be sure to sign and return by Friday, January 30. I have attached another copy if you need it.
2. A few PTO Events to share: Skate Night and Valentine’s Grams (see attached)
3. A note from Ms. Paula: Paula Kern, the Music Director at St. Chris, is inviting the school choir to lead the music at the Saturday evening Mass on January 24. If your child is able to sing with us, please contact Paula Kern at pkern@sgfp.org. When I receive your email, I will send you the planned list of music. Please have your kids arrive in the choir room at 4 p.m. so we can rehearse for the 5p Mass. I hope you can make it!
4. Open House is Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 10:00am-11:30am. More to share as we get closer!
5. A reminder about our Shoe Reset for Monday, January 26: Please make sure your child comes to school wearing proper shoes every day. This means: no crocs, no sandal slides/flip flops/clogs, and be sure shoes are secure and safe for running, playing, and learning. On Gym Days, students must wear sturdy, fully-enclosed, non-skid shoes.
6. Next week is Catholic Schools Week! Our committee has some super fun events planned for the kids!
7. We had our All School Spelling Bee this week. I am always in awe of our spellers! Our winner will be advancing to the All Area Catholic School Spelling Bee next week!
