School Band

Band is offered to students in the 5th-8th grades. Students meet twice a weekend and will not miss any academic classes. The band director will meet with the 5th grade students during the first two weeks of school. Parents of interested students will be invited to an orientation meeting. Students in the 6th-8th grades who were previously in the school band will be sent enrollment information. Any new 6th-8th grade students wishing to join the band will need to meet the necessary fundamentals. Band performance opportunities include the Christmas program, a solo and ensemble winter performance, and a spring concert.
