Hello!
Many of your houses have been hit by the lovely illness bugs over the last few months. Well… Team Trentman was hit last week. I was out for the majority of the week… ugh sorry to be MIA! I started tackling emails today. Thank you for your patience. It is good to be back.

A Few Things:
- I have sent the proposed 25-26 SC School Calendar to the Archdiocese for approval. I wanted to let you know that our first day will be Wednesday, August 20. I will send a more detailed calendar with drafted dates to you soon.
- A big thanks to Mrs. Richard and her team for organizing the Junior High 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament for this Friday. It is always such a fun day. Whether basketball is their favorite or not, the camaraderie and sportsmanship shown during the tournament is amazing. I might even need to bust out my skills to remind them who has the best jumper in the building.
- Spring Picture Reminder from Schwabe:
- A message it from the photographer: “For spring picture day this year you have received a half sheet paper with a QR code on it. Each child was photographed for spring picture day. Next week you will be notified by email when these images are ready for you to view. The QR code you can scan to ensure that you have the correct email address in the system that you want to be notified by. This is where you will also be able to order their class and club pictures.”
- For those students who are trained servers: If you are interested in serving during a weekend mass, please complete the flyer (it will be coming home tomorrow) and return it to school. We will get it to the right people. Thank you for your service to this important ministry!
- Moving this back to the top- Please write your family name in uniform sweatshirts and coats for easier return. With the weather being cold then hot, lots of sweatshirts get tossed during recess. The missing pile is getting quite large.
- Our 2nd-8th Grade Classes will take the ARK Religion Assessment this week. The ARK Assessment helps our school and parish reflect on our curriculum and practices. The assessment is quick… about 20-30 minutes. The information is analyzed on a whole group basis. We previously have taken the ACRE Assessment, but the Archdiocese is moving to ARK. We will see how Year One goes!
Reminders:
- With the cafeteria up and running again, please be sure to monitor your cafeteria balances. Thank you!
- DATE CHANGE: The 5th-8th Grade Spring Concert has been moved to Tuesday, May 13.
- Mrs. Schindler’s EdChoice Renewal Information:
- Please complete the EdChoice Renewal Form at your earliest convenience. We would like to have all scholarships secured before the end of March.
- For access to the Form, please click on the attachment. Please email me back the completed form to jschindler@sc.sgfp.org.
- Proof of Residency is still required of all renewal applications and must be submitted to the school with the application. Please see the Acceptable Proof of Address Guidance attachment for more details.
- Income Verification is not required for renewals, unless your income decreased and you want to be considered for a higher scholarship amount.
- 2025 Federal Poverty Guidelines are attached as well.
- Every Friday is SChirt Day! Kids can wear the current 24-25 SChirt or previous SChirts with uniform bottoms.
