Here is a look at the week ahead… not much to report!

A Few Things:
1. Heifer International Update from Mrs. Hartley: Traditionally, during Lent, our 8th grade students take on a fundraising project called ‘Passing on the Gift Promise.’ They take their faith one step further, earning money using the gifts and talents God has given them in order to make a difference in the world community. They have organized a Heifer International Fair to sell their items and will donate the proceeds to Heifer International. We have an anonymous donor who will match whatever they earn. In this project, the class will put discipleship into action, focusing on the Catholic Social Teachings of working for the Common Good, understanding the Dignity of Every Person, Solidarity, and helping the Poor and Vulnerable. The fair will be held on Wednesday, March 25 during lunch periods. Items range in price from $0.50-$5.00. There will be waffles, bracelets, carvings, ice cream, candy, snacks, crochet items, slime, baked goods, and more!
2. Quarter 3 Report Cards went home last week. Please empty, sign the envelope, and return to school. Thank you!
3. We are nearing in on our PTO Run-a-Thon is up and RUNNING. Please activate your account from 99Pledges and share the link with families. Let’s raise some money and get some exercise! More info about the Run-a-Thon coming soon.
4. The SGFP Lenten Rice Bowls are due Friday, March 27.
5. We have Kindergarten Screening this Thursday and Friday! It is always so fun to see the little ones excited about the big school 🙂
6. Moving this back up to the top! Please write your family name in uniform sweatshirts for easier return. With the everchanging weather, kids are taking off their quarterzips and dropping them all about. Those things are expensive! We want to make sure we can return them to you.

2. A note from Cafeteria Manager, Ms. Shelby: Friday Lent Menu- cheese pizza, boxed lunch, and PB&J (with fruit and veggie).

In our continuing mission throughout 2026 to remind ourselves that Prayer is the Heartbeat you are invited to a special Monday night series by Father Kyle in March called “Lord Teach Us to Pray.” Fr. Kyle will share what the Catholic Catechism has to say about prayer and end each night with an experience of prayer. Looking for a way to increase your prayer life? 4. A reminder that every Friday is SChirt Day (current or previous shirts with uniform bottoms).
5. I am attaching our Archdiocesan approved 26 – 27 calendar for next year. It is a skeleton… not a lot of info on there.
