Distance Teaching: You have heard of distance learning, well, Mrs. Trentman practiced distance teaching on Monday and it went very well! In the below picture, you can see Mrs. Trentman’s classroom big screen on the left. On the right side of her screen, you can see Mrs. Trentman in her Google Meet at home along with our at-home learners at their homes. On the left side of the screen, she is using Google Jamboard to demonstrate a live math problem for her students. Missing from the picture are the classroom students and substitute teacher (me), but all are visible to Mrs. Trentman and the at-home students using our 110 degree Huddle Webcam (right hand side of picture).
|Mobile Library: Below are some pictures of Mrs. Hartley and her mobile library. So cool! She travels the hallways with grade-specific samples of books. Books are quarantined for 72 hours before going back into circulation.|
|40 Days for Life: Please join us in celebrating and promoting 40 Days for Life from September 23 to November 1. Please click here for more information: Flyer & Prayers|
Sick Days: If your student is staying home due to illness, but is well enough to learn, please have him/her join Google Classroom from home and live-stream. Google Classroom can be accessed from any device. Textbooks and other materials can be helpful, but are not always necessary when home for only a day or two.
Learning Model Change (Reminder): If you decide to change your student’s learning model from at-home to in-school or vice versa, please email me by 3:00 PM on Friday September 25. The change will go into effect on Thursday October 1. In other words, if your student is changing models, October 1 will be the first day in the new model.
Have a great weekend!
God Bless & Go Falcons!
